Fire investigators were on the scene of a deadly overnight fire. Flames broke out just after 1 AM.
A mobile home was destroyed in Sandy Valley, about an hour southeast of town. Firefighters arrived to find flames leaping from the double-wide. Two people and three animals were killed.
An elderly couple lived in the trailer. Fire officials say the man was found dead in his bed and the woman was in the back of the home. They say the woman may have been trying to phone for help.
There is no word yet on what sparked the blaze.
