The 2009 Jefferson Awards

Do you know someone who goes "above and beyond" to help our community?

A selfless person who gives his or her time and devotion to a worthy cause?

An ordinary person doing extraordinary things?

Now is the time to give them the recognition they deserve!  Nominate your unsung hero for a Jefferson Award, presented by Channel 13 and Wells Fargo.  Click here for a printable nomination form, or call 257-8403 to get a form faxed or mailed to you.

Volunteer vs. Paid Professional - eligibility includes volunteers and paid professionals who are going well above and beyond their job description.  "Unsung heroes" means someone that is not normally in the media.

For each winner selected, Channel 13 and Wells Fargo will profile a nominee in a special news report.  One of our local winners will also be selected to attend the Jefferson Awards National Celebration of Service to America in Washington, DC in June.
