Christmas angels land at St. Rose

Many of you are thinking about what Santa's going to be bringing, but one local woman is delivering some early Christmas cheer.

We brought you Stephanie Sinanian's incredible story of strength and survival earlier this weekend and on Christmas Eve, our cameras were there, as she delivered some special gifts she made for some special kids.

Thursday, Santa's sleigh has wheels. Flying up to the fourth floor of St. Rose Dominican Hospital to Pediatrics.

Carrying some Christmas magic in the form of angels.

"They're very special, very meaningful to me," 26 year old Stephanie Sinanian tells us.

 Stephanie is talking about the angel Christmas ornaments which she and her mother made by hand. They hope to bring some smiles to the kids.

"I think by Stephanie bringing these, it might bring them a little joy," Ani Sinanian, Stephanie's mother, says.

Stephanie agrees, "I hope the angels make them happy."

The angels have a special place in the hearts of Stephanie and her mother and being in the hospital brings back some memories.

"It gets a little emotional," Ani says.  As an infant Stephanie suffered burns all over her body and had a 1% chance of survival. She lived, but the blood transfusion that saved her life gave her HIV and Hepatitis C. While in the hospital in her early 20's, Stephanie tells us she had a vision of an angel. That's when she began making and believing in angels.

 "I just want her to pick the one she wants because I guess if you pick them it will bless her," Stephanie says about the kids choosing their ornament.

Stephanie tells Action News, she just wants the Christmas angels to be a gift that keeps giving hope all year round.  

"I think it'll help everybody I'm trying to help everyone out, to the best of my abilities, you know."
