LAS VEGAS, NV - Some homeowners in the neighborhood near Spencer and Maule are happy after a plan to put a prison house in has been withdrawn.
The decision came at the County Planning Commission meeting Tuesday night. The prison house would have gone in at the corner of Spencer and Maule, within a mile of Sunset Park, several schools and several communities. The house would have sheltered federal prisoners.
