Governor Jim Gibbons has appointed Adriana G. Fralick as the new General Counsel in the Governor's Office. Presently, Ms. Fralick serves as General Counsel for the Nevada Commission on Ethics. She has held that position since 2006, and has worked for the Commission for the past four-and-a-half years.
"I believe Adriana Fralick possesses the character and experience to be a strong and sound contributor to our staff," Governor Gibbons said.
Ms. Fralick completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada-Reno in 1998 and she received her law degree in 2003 from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. During law school, she was involved in various organizations, including acting as parliamentarian for the Minority Law Students Association and vice-president of the Organization of Women Law Students.
Ms. Fralick has provided pro bono legal services for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Ms. Fralick is fluent in Spanish and English.
"Much like Nevada citizens, our state government is experiencing challenging economic times," Fralick said, "I look forward to working with Governor Gibbons and his staff to guide our state through this crisis."
