Sue Lowden is not declaring she is a candidate just yet, but she's definitely looking into it. Republican Sue Lowden is testing the waters for a run at Harry Reid's Senate seat.

Lowden is resigning as chair of the state Republican party to see if there's enough interest in her running.

Thursday, Lowden talked exclusively to Action News about the Senator she used to believe in.

"He was independent like Nevada and I think that's he's become a liberal, Nancy Pelosi Washingtonian and that he's forgotten who he represents back here. We voted for him, many people voted for him to represent Nevada values and I think he's forgotten about us here and he's become more liberal," said Lowden.

Lowden says she could make an official announcement within the next month or so. You can watch the entire interviw with Lowden by clicking on the video on the right.
