A hospital in Louisville, Kentucky makes history for a second time.

We first told you about Jewish Hospital when doctors there performed the world's first successful hand transplant.

And now doctors are claiming success in a groundbreaking treatment for heart disease.

Doctors performed the world's first adult cardiac stem cell injection on 66-year-old Mike Jones.

Doctors used cardiac stem cells from Jones's own heart, and injected them during a minimally invasive procedure.

Jones was able to return to work within a week.

Dr. Roberto Bolli says "In this case this will be truly a revolutionary treatment for heart failure and will open up really unprecedented opportunities for improving life of these patients."

Heart disease remains the number one killer of Americans.
